The Department of Electrical Engineering, BSIET, organized an industrial visit for Second Year Electrical Engineering students to MSEDCL, Meter Testing and Calibration Division, Bapat Camp, Kolhapur, under the subject Electrical and Electronics Measurement. During the visit, students gained practical exposure to third-party meter testing as per NBA norms and IS standards, LT and HT energy meters, transformer testing, smart energy meter features, advanced energy measurement techniques, and CT–PT calibration procedures demonstrated by IDEMI, Mumbai.
